Light Mullite Brick is a lightweight refractory material with excellent thermal insulation properties, made primarily of mullite and designed for high-temperature applications.
Light Mullite Brick Description
Aluminum cordierite refractory bricks and mullite cordierite refractory bricks are mainly composed of aluminum raw materials combined with cordierite or mullite to ensure high compressive strength, thermal shock resistance, and low thermal expansion coefficient.
It has a very low iron and alkali metal low melt content and therefore it has high refractoriness. The higher aluminum content allows it to maintain good performance under a reduced atmosphere. Precise dimensions: masonry, thin and uniform bricks. The masonry has high strength and high stability.
Light Mullite Brick ApplicationÂ
Light Mullite Brick can be used as a backing insulation layer for hot surface refractory lining or other refractory materials. It can be used in melting furnaces, firing kilns, flues, refining equipment, heating equipment, regenerators, gas generators, and pipes, soaking furnaces, annealing furnaces, reaction chambers, and other similar industrial thermal equipment.
